02 HR Case Study Bossgiri and Cabin..

Bossgiri and Cabin....

Shri Sumon Malik, a noted entrepreneur and Design Guru writes " Robert L Prospt ne sabse pehle define kiya new open office concept..."

He divided it into Den...cabins

Hives for individual office spaces...and the evolution of modern cubicles..from it...

BTW it clearly depends on nature of work and function and of course on individual to define the work place.

Now a days most of the work happens in a collaborative or team spaces and break out zones....pods are sound proof enclosures for the reserving confidential talk and industrial language...

I was in receiving end from any clients during office design...where could clearly figure out cultures of organizations getting decided thru office design.

For me personally...love my cabin for the cognitive work but love the elaborative team spaces with in for keeping connected...love the endless writing walls and pin up boards ...and a dart board is must...😊😃 "

Teachers note to MBA students - Why do we need cabins for senior management staff, is it for satisfying their ego? is this their Den? do you think it will be productive if just a cubicle is given to the senior management and all discussion if any they should go to conference room? in this new era of flat and open management system dont you think the cabin space is redundant and occupies as a statement?

a walk in the new age corporates, we see open work spaces whereas the traditional ones stick to the office space more rigid with walls.

give your comments and responses and how you felt going to say a Bank which is traditional and a modern new age Bank?
